Senacyt marks first mathematics festival

26/05/2012 - Today marked the first Mathematics Festival hosted by the National Secreatriat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Senacyt) in Omar Recreational Park.

Participating in the activity were teachers and students from the Universidad de Panamá and the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí, among others.

Also present were officials from the Office of the First Lady, who were on hand to distribute prizes.

Senacyt developed this activity to promote the study of math. It plans to hold more festivals during the year.
