12/09/2012 - Panameñista party legislator, Adolfo Valderrama turned on against Chairman of the National Assembly Sergio Gálvez stating politics for him seems to be centered only in giving away food and the organization of food fairs.
Valderrama questioned the “slacking” attitude Gálvez has adopted as chairman of the National Assembly, thus exposing this entity into ridiculous and shameful situations.
Valderrama mentioned Gálvez is making all legislators look bad with the approval of bills citizens are opposing.
On the other hand, the dialogue between governing and opposing parties will be resumed this morning, in order to reach an agreement on electoral reforms.
After two days of meetings no consensus has been achieved, and the parties are still holding their positions.
While Cambio Democrático party insists there has been progress, Panameñista and Partido Revolucionario Democrático parties are requesting the participation of Justices from the Electoral Court.
