29/03/2013 - Panama Archbishop José Domingo Ulloa sent a message to Catholics yesterday saying they should take advantage of Holy Week to reflect on their lives.
Ulloa said the world would be different if all human beings could put themselves into the service of others, just as Jesus did.
He added that Christians should not be afraid to say that they are believers and even made a call to non-believers to review what sense they have in their lives, work and families.
THE NEW POPE
Referring to newly elected Pope Francisco, the first pope from Latin American, the archbishop said that the choice is special to him, and that he has already invited him to visit Panama for the 500th anniversary of the founding of the first diocese on mainland America.
Ulloa made these statements during the celebration of Holy Thursday in the Basilica Don Bosco.
Today, Friday commemorates the death of Jesus.
