Union leader warns about water law

03/01/2013 - Rafael Mejia, the leader of the union representing workers of water and sewer agency Idaan, appealed to the community to pay attention to the draft law that is expected to be presented to the National Assembly this month that will create a new water authority.

"We all want the same thing, peace, quiet and a good institution," Mejia said. "That is a social undertaking that will be a particular service to the citizenship."

To this end, he said that the community should take an active part in the debate to ensure that the changes will benefit them.
