24/12/2012 - The Panama City Mayor's Office has issued a decree supending the "carrot law," which regulates alchohol sales, until 12:01 a.m. Dec. 26.
This means that alcohol can be sold all through the night, rather than stopping at 2 a.m.
Mayor Roxana Méndez said that the decision was made so that Panamanians and visitors alike can celebrate the holidays without any restrictions.
