18/12/2012 - The Cambio Democrático (CD) and Molirena parties will win the 2014 elections, President Ricardo Martinelli said today.
The president said that the only thing that the opposition parties have accomplished is criticism about the gains made under his administration. Martinelli said these projects, such as the road improvement program, will benefit the country.
He also defended the decision to make the Corredor Norte and Corredor Sur free for the holidays. He said that this will improve traffic flow throughout Panama City.
The president offered these statements at the opening of new offices of Social Security's Manuel Ferrer Valdés¨Polyclinic in Calidonia.
Martinelli added that the Social Security disability fund has run a surplus this year allowing the government to make more investments in health care.
