10/06/2012 - President of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli will speak at the International Labour Organization (ILO) assembly next Tuesday, June 12 about the Panamanian experience on economic growth, according to Ministry of Labor, Alma Cortés.
The minister said Martinelli will speak about the three way social dialogue and the solution of labor conflicts and its efficiency.
The President, who last June 6 travelled to Greece in order to participate of the International Maritime Exhibition held at Posidonia, will comment the last report from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (Cepal) and ILO issued last week, positioning Panama as the country with the best policy to reduce unemployment.
Cepal and ILO’s report places Panama as the first Latin American country with the lowest unemployment rate.
