ATTT says most of compensation has been paid to bus drivers
21/03/2013 - Roberto Moreno, director of transit agency ATTT, said today that many of the "Diablos Rojos" operators have not cashed their compensation checks.
According to Moreno, more than 500 checks have been issued, but only 300 have been cashed.
"Thos who have not received their money are those who do not want to," he said.
He said that the agency has issued checks to all eligible operators, and the ones who are still waiting for them are those with legal issues.
On the other hand, the official pointed out that the chaos that occurred last Friday with the Metro bus routes has not been repeated this week. He said that the system has made changes to improve service and that users are become more aware of the changes and have adapted.
"When people learn how to properly use the new system, it will improve," he said.
