27/12/2012 - The opposition Partido Revolucionario Democrático (PRD) today determined the positions that will be occupied by the 18 candidate on the ballot for the presidential primary March 10, 2013.
According to the draw, made at the headquarters of the collective, the candidates will be listed in the following order (from 1 to 18): Gabriel Despaigne, Pedro Montañez,Juan Carlos Navarro Carlos Belmo,Yulissa Carrizo, Valentín Ramos Montenegro, Manuel Bermúdez Ruidiaz, Yony García, José Dídimo Escobar, Joaquín Perurena, Pedro Silvestri, Honorio Quesada, Silvio Quiñonez, Vicente Magallón, Juan Carlos Arosemena, Norman Scott, Hermelinda Fuentes and Alfredo Oranges Bustos
PRD National Elections Commission Chairman Luis Guerra explained that the next step is for each campaign to train and organize their representatives on the position occupied by their respective candidate.
The PRD will have about 975 polling centers for its 517,000 members who are eligible to vote in the primary. Registration closed on Nov. 11.
