27/07/2012 - Panameñista party legislator, Adolfo Valderrama criticized the lack of coordination in the National Assembly’s security after the incident occurring last Friday, July 27 where the mother of a missing child, Mónica de Serrana threw eggs to legislators.
“It was just a mistake from security”, said the opposing party legislator, who at the same time mentioned the situation was caused by a “frustration” from the child’s mother who disappeared in February, 2003.
After the incident, Legislator President of the National Assembly, Sergio Gálvez said the security measures will be reinforced, and that legislator’s guards will be reassigned so they can provide their services within the Legislative Branch.
Valderrama said he did not understand Gálvez comments since he has never had guards and doesn’t know which legislators have them.
