31/03/2013 - The Molirena party, which has tripled its number of adherents in the last year, has said that it wil seek to nominate the vice presidential candidate for a ticket headed by the Cambio Democrático (CD).
"We will require the candidate for vice president be a Molirena member," said party President Sergio González Ruíz.
He said that the party has yet to identify a possible candidate, but that he would seek the nomination.
"The supporters have asked me," he said.
The party is planning a registration drive in April. It had planned a primary in March but cancelled it due to the alliance with the CD.
The party has about 108,000 members.
